When Baublys Konstruktionen was founded, in 1973, as a private development and engineering enterprise, we principally manufactured NC marking machines and machine tools for the automotive industry and component suppliers.
In 1977 Baublys Company Limited (GmbH) was founded for the purpose of manufacturing and selling marking machines.
Since 1981 we also produce CNC-control marking machines with 3 axes and, later on, also with 6 axes. All control units and software programs have always been designed and developed internally, by Baublys exclusively.
A large variety of marking procedures, marking tools and technologies for marking machines on a wide range of materials of most different kinds have been developed in the course of time. Engraving and marking machines, laser marking installations equipped with control units based on modern PC standard and efficient software correspond to almost any requirement.
On the basis of proven machine concepts the company took up manufacture of CNC-control engraving machines for 2D, 2½D and 3D engraving tasks. 3D-CNC engraving machines and laser installations are particularly suitable for engraving tires, bottles and open-die shapes.
We have been manufacturing 3D high-precision engraving machines equipped with laser scanning systems and high-capacity software for the mint industry for many years.
Mint institutes all over the world profit from the advantages offered by our equipment and its efficient software which, for instance, permit simple and precise production of 3D relief from 2D-models.
In the course of the years development and manufacture of laser marking and engraving machines has become a major concern. In 1991 the first laser marking machines were introduced to the market by our company.
Laser marking machines are extremely rapid, variable as well as economic marking installations - equipped with extremely capacitate software, specifically developed by Baublys.
Nd:YAG solid-state lasers are suitable for marking a multitude of heterogeneous materials. Some typical applications are marking of any steel types, non-ferrous heavy metals, ceramic material as well as synthetics.
CO2 lasers are mainly used for marking organic material, such as wood, glass, rubber, ceramics as well as plastics, etc.
In the meantime our laser marking installations have been proven in the various domains. Our machines are designed for stand-alone purposes, integration in transfer lines, as well as deep-engraving performance for up to several millimeters depth.
The company has approximately 60 employees, a production area of around 2500 m2, and is considered as one of the most important manufacturers of highest-quality marking installations today.
The large number of patents and filed patents prove our high research and development level and, thereby, the company's quality as an innovative and reliable partner.
Up to present Baublys has sold more than 2000 machines world-wide. Our exports amount to approximately 50 % of the total turnover.
